After learning of the decision of NISSAN Mexicana to make lay-offs in some of its plants, the director of the National Service of Employment Aguascalientes, Alma Hilda Medina Macías, informed that the Government of the State will promote some actions in support to the workers that could be affected.
He said that although it is unknown until now how many people could be in that situation in the entity, it is in the interest of the current state administration to offer them some alternatives so that they can access a labor source and avoid a negative impact on their family economy.
In that sense, Medina Macías explained that in the first weeks of next month of January, the SNE Aguascalientes will organize an exclusive job fair for those people who could enter within the workers lay-off foreseen by NISSAN in the plants that operate in this entity.
He also said that they will be given priority within the Self-Employment Promotion Program 2019, which aims to support job seekers who want to develop an activity on their own, with the delivery of furniture, machinery, equipment and / or tools.
The General Director of Labor of the General Secretariat of the Government also said that if the intentions of the Japanese company were to materialize, the SNE Aguascalientes would be available to start collecting résumés and job applications, in order to place them in the companies that require them.
He added that those interested can go to the offices of SNE Aguascalientes, located at Av. Aguascalientes No. 3214, Fracc. Prados del Sur; or call 449 9719402, where they will be given the necessary information and advice so that they can immediately return to the labor market.
Finally, the state official reiterated that for the current state administration is a priority issue the generation of jobs, so that work will continue to generate the conditions required to create more and better sources of work in the entity.
