To maintain a thriving economy through greater labor inclusion practices, better urban connectivity and more employment opportunities for highly specialized levels, the Secretariat of Economic Development (SEDEC) is developoing together with a group of experts from Harvard University a government plan for the 2045 vision.
The secretary of SEDEC explained that in coordination with the students of the Master in Public Affairs for International Development at Harvard, there are public policies that strengthen the new economic development for Aguascalientes, foreseen in the State Development Plan.
Martínez Castañeda said that this strategy will seek to define short-term actions that also support the 2045 vision that the government is projecting towards strategic sectors, such as aerospace, logistics, IT, local procurement, among others.
Three Harvard students, representatives of the research team and experts in international development, are visiting the state, to collect data in the field to present to the governor Martín Orozco Sandoval and the secretary of Economic Development; during their stay they will be visiting high manufacturing companies, as well as other agents of local economic activity.
Finally, he said that in the coming days there will be a meeting with the state governor to present the first proposals and scopes of the evaluation, which could be implemented during the remaining time of the current administration.
